At any given time, approximately 30 cats and 30 dogs are available for adoption. All adoptions are at the discretion of the Tri-County Humane Society, and approval of an adoption contract. We reserve the right to refuse adoption to any person.

Adoption Policy and Fees

All adoptions are based on approval of the adoption contract. This includes, but is not limited by, the agreement to have the pet spayed or neutered within a specified time period.

• Starting at $40.00 for dogs and puppies
• Starting at $40.00 for cats and kittens

What Is the Adoption Fee For?

The adoption fee helps to cover:

• Shelter operational expenses such as the utility bills and animal care staff.
• Vaccinations and other preventative treatment for all animals (not just foster care).
• Education programs.
