First off I would like to thank the TCHS for all they do.

 I adopted Spike as a 5 yr old. I have since named him Spencer. He is the best dog. He is great with kids, greets strangers with an intimidating bark but then is the biggest baby when I come outside to see who is here. He has free run of the yard when I am home and free run of the house all the time. He is such a fun loving guy. He is 8 now and shows a little age, but is still a fun goofy lug. I adopted him as a companion for my aging golden lab Clancy, who I also adopted from your shelter when he was ten months old, and Spencer was the most gentle buddy Clancy could have had in his last months of his life. I could really go on and on about Spencer. I hope to take him on the companion walk this year!
