Your donation today will help us prepare for the MANY animals we expect to come through our doors. In turn, the animals will be expecting us to find a new home for them. We can and will do this, thanks to your generosity.
The Tri-County Humane Society offers thousands of animals a year the opportunity for compassionate care as well as a second chance for a new home. We strive to provide additional care to an increasing number of animals in need. This work is made possible through your generous donations and continued loyalty.
In whatever way you are able to help, in the way that fits your schedule, budget, and concern for animals, be assured that every dollar is wisely used in the best interest of the animals.
Thank you for your financial and moral support! Your charitable gift will help enable us to continue providing shelter for homeless animals while they are awaiting a new home.
(TCHS is a 501©3 nonprofit. Contributions are fully tax deductible as permitted by law.)
**When you get to the paypal site, if you have special instructions to go with your donation, click the orange "Review Donation and Continue" button at the bottom of the page. This will bring you to a page with a link that says, "Add special instructions to the shelter" which will give you a text box to write any details you would like to give regarding your gift.**
Your giving helps us in several ways. Most importantly, we are where we are today because of you and your desire to help animals.
Did you know…
* one less designer coffee per week can buy 25 lbs. of pet food each month?
* one less dining out for two a month can spay or neuter an animal in need?
We are excited to promote programs now offered at Tri-County Humane Society, making it easier to save and protect more animals.
Monthly automatic gift giving. Without thinking about it, one less coffee or dinner out automatically deducted from your account will save lives. It’s convenient, automatic and documented on your year-end statements for tax deductions. (Automatic Giving Form.pdf)
Annual kennel/cage sponsorships. Sponsorships provide a great opportunity for families, communities, group organizations and companies to publicly recognize your commitment in helping save animals in the community. (Kennel Sponsorship.pdf)
Workplace Giving Campaigns are in many companies throughout our area. It's an easy, efficient way to donate to critical health, education, environmental and social services charities that serve Minnesota.
If your workplace participates in campaigns like the United Way or Combined Federal Campaign, you can designate Tri-County Humane Society to be the recipient of your donations. All you have to do is ask for a designation form and indicate you want your deductions to go to Tri-County Humane Society, 735 8th St. NE St Cloud MN.
How easy is that? By doing so you can: Help us help pets and the people who love them find each other and stay together.
If you have co-workers who are animal lovers too, please share the good word about designating Tri-County Humane Society for your workplace donation deductions!

Appreciated securities can be transferred to Tri County Humane Society (TCHS) without being sold.
Securities are transferred "in kind" meaning that they are transferred to TCHS through a brokerage account. Then, when TCHS receives the securities, they are allowed to sell the securities without incurring a capital gain. The donor also does not incur a capital gain but may take a charitable deduction equal to the value of the securities at the time of transfer. A donor's tax advisor should be consulted. TCHS has established a brokerage account through Schluchter Investment Advisors in St Cloud to assist donors with their gifting opportunities.

TCHS does not share, trade, or otherwise distribute donor information to other organizations.
