Your donation today will help us prepare for the MANY animals we expect to come through our doors. In turn, the animals will be expecting us to find a new home for them. We can and will do this, thanks to your generosity.
The Tri-County Humane Society offers thousands of animals a year the opportunity for compassionate care as well as a second chance for a new home. We strive to provide additional care to an increasing number of animals in need. This work is made possible through your generous donations and continued loyalty.
In whatever way you are able to help, in the way that fits your schedule, budget, and concern for animals, be assured that every dollar is wisely used in the best interest of the animals.
We’ve all been hearing the term “times are tough” far too often lately. But it is true, and we experienced it with this year’s Companion Walk results. I, for one, had pledges from more people this year, but my total amount raised was down from last year. We had more people attend the walk, but the grand total was down from the prior year. We’re still the same great humane society we were last year doing remarkable work for the people and animals of our community, so I can only believe it is the economy.
Times are already tough for the animals when they come to the shelter. They’ve had their lives turned upside down and are without the people they loved. They are in a clean and nurturing environment, but it’s not the homey feeling many were used to. Where’s the couch, cat tree or basket of toys? Little do they know that just around the corner those luxury items will again be available. But until that day happens, they understandably feel displaced. We are here to get them to their new destination where there is a couch and toy box with their name on it.
At a time when we want to implement new programs to reduce stress, length of stay for the animals, and make sure all are spayed and neutered before being adopted, we are also uncertain about the future economy. If you are in a position to be able to increase your usual giving to help make up for those who are no longer able to donate, we would welcome your additional support and put it to good use. Donating to the Tri-County Humane Society is a good investment with an even better return. There’s something about being able to help animals who cannot help themselves that gives a person a good feeling. Get your good feelings here – at the Tri-County Humane Society!

Thank you for your financial and moral support! Your charitable gift will help enable us to continue providing shelter for homeless animals while they are awaiting a new home.
Your giving helps us in several ways. Most importantly, we are where we are today because of you and your desire to help animals.
Did you know…
* one less designer coffee per week can buy 25 lbs. of pet food each month?
* one less dining out for two a month can spay or neuter an animal in need?
We are excited to promote two new programs now offered at Tri-County Humane Society, making it easier to save and protect more animals.
Monthly automatic gift giving. Without thinking about it, one less coffee or dinner out automatically deducted from your account will save lives. It’s convenient, automatic and documented on your year-end statements for tax deductions. (Automatic Giving Form.pdf)
Annual kennel/cage sponsorships. Sponsorships provide a great opportunity for families, communities, group organizations and companies to publicly recognize your commitment in helping save animals in the community. (Kennel Sponsorship.pdf)
Workplace Giving Campaigns are in many companies throughout our area. It's an easy, efficient way to donate to critical health, education, environmental and social services charities that serve Minnesota.
If your workplace participates in campaigns like the United Way or Combined Federal Campaign, you can designate Tri-County Humane Society to be the recipient of your donations. All you have to do is ask for a designation form and indicate you want your deductions to go to Tri-County Humane Society, 735 8th St. NE St Cloud MN.
How easy is that? By doing so you can: Help us help pets and the people who love them find each other and stay together.
